Joseph A. Gutierrez, CIC
Joseph began his insurance career with Allstate Insurance Co in 2002 as an Exclusive Agency Principal. Joseph joined Professional Insurance Group, LLC in 2008 serving as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations. In 2011, he was also named Managing Partner of Preferred Choice Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Trutela Insurance, LLC. He earned a bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and holds a General Lines Group 1 License, a General Lines Property & Casualty License, a Risk Management License and as the Certified Insurance Counselor Designation. While away from the office, Joseph spends quality time with Melanie, his wife of 19 years, and their four daughters. He proudly supports his children’s schools, Church, and many not-for-profit organizations.
Jamie Intriago
Jamie joined the Trutela team in early 2019 and is an integral part of our service team. She is our main point of contact to help with any need you may have upon becoming a Trutela client. Jamie strives to meet the needs of our customers quickly and efficiently. No question is too big or too small; each client’s concerns are handled with professionalism and with care. In addition, she will reach out to each and every client prior to each renewal to complete our Annual Policy Renewal (APR) to review coverages, discuss premiums, and answer any questions you may have.
Outside of the office, Jamie spends her time with her son AJ and boyfriend, Jeremy, and enjoys cooking, numerous family activities, and movies.
Monica King
Monica is a dedicated customer service agent who works hard to exceed our customers’ expectations. She is engaged to her better half, and the two of them love spending time together with their two cats. Monica enjoys going on holiday with her parents at their family beach house as well.
Veronica Taylor
Veronica has been a licensed agent since 2011. She started her career with USAA then moved to State Farm to allow her to build personal relationships with her clients. After gaining experience with two large captive companies, she was ready to jump into the world of an independent agency. She spent two and half years at Goosehead Insurance before joining the team at Trutela. Now, she offers her vast professional experience to Trutela clients across all channels of insurance: Personal, Commercial, Life, and Health. Personal attention and client education are at the forefront of the relationship Veronica builds with each client.
When she isn’t in the office, Veronica spends quality time with her family, including husband Jorge, daughter Alexis, and fur baby Rocky. She is a proud band parent, soccer mom, and member of a competitive barbecue cooking team.
